Pertamina EP targeted to be the number one oil and gas producer in 2011. Related to that issue, Pertamina EP President Director Salis S Aprilian is conducting a roadshow to Pertamina EP Sumatera, Java, and Eastern Indonesia Regions. In his presentation, Salis stated five commands that must be implemented by every employee.

First, every organization must optimized its authority, job, and responsibility. Second, acting officer has the same authorization with the definitive officer except for organization and mutation issues. Third, subordinate is not allowed to give back the authority to his or her superior for protection. Fourth, every subordinate must give complete input in accordance to his or her job description. If the decision made by the superior was based on a non complete input, the subordinate will also take the risk. Fifth, every team member must be responsible to the team leader and should not be affected by the rank or level in the existing organization.

Based on the vision to be the number one oil and gas producer in Indonesia, Salis said that in order to achieve it, Pertamina EP must be able to realize the 570 MBOEPD as the total target of oil and gas production. “Pertamina EP is blessed with both oil and gas production,” he said during the transformation socialization in front of Pertamina EP workers in head office, Jakarta, Tuesday (16/6).

Salis explained that another important thing is the sustainable additional reserves. “An oil and gas industry must be supported by the discoveries of new oil and gas reserve. Without it, the company will soon be facing bankruptcy,” he stated.

In this transformation program, Salis also stated the importance of culture change program. Salis presented the triple S values of Sincere, Strong, and Sensible. “The triple S value must be internalized and implemented by every Pertamina EP worker,” he said. President Director explained that the triple S value is strongly related with 6C and FIVEM values in Pertamina.

“By the name of the Merciful and the Almighty, we hereby stated our commitment to improve ourselves and committed to implement the second REPETITA transformation program, to reach Pertamina EP’s vision to be the number one oil and gas producer in Indonesia by the end of year 2011,” as Salis read the content of Transformation Charter that represents the commitment of the board of directors.

Previously, President Director of Pertamina EP had the opportunity to do the socialization in Sumatera and Java region.
